Well depending on how good you are at fabricating things, you could get a
small CRT and make a cover for it so it's not so obvious. But in anycase there
isn't always alot of room to work with in dashboards because they have ducting
and wiring as well as support brackets to deal with. You can probably get away
with eliminating your glove box but there won't usually be enough room with
a dash to add much else, exept perhaps the pillar where a stereo/climate controls
would be.

And if you're doing this, will all likelyhood of total dash removal, you should
probably change your heater core if your car is more than 10 years old, as you
won't want to take off your dash again.
