I'm not objecting to them posting stuff, just to where it is being
posted.  These groups were created for a reason and that reason is
still valid today.

For example, I can't afford to buy anything for my Apple IIs right now
so I just skip reading the comp.sys.apple2.marketplace newsgroup.
This should mean that I don't see any "for sale" messages when I'm
reading the Apple II newsgroups.

Also, I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't use or aren't
interested in hearing about GNO/ME so the way things are set up, they
don't have to subscribe to the comp.sys.apple2.gno newsgroup and they
should never see GNO/ME related messages.

Of course, that is only in a perfect world and I do see the odd "for
sale" or GNO/ME related message here but that is no reason to tell new
users that they should just post everything here in comp.sys.apple2.
