The thing about you saying $600 is not it's value, that is in your
opinion. The value of /anything/ is what someone somewhere is willing to
pay for it. If everyone in the world woke up tommorow and decided that
gold was worthless and nobody wanted it, it would lose it's "value"; and
likewise, if everyone in the world decided to collect old Apple
computers the prices would go through the -roof-.
On a different note, I happen to have several Apple IIe's, stocked with
cards if anyone in the bay area would be interested in a trade/make me
offer. I don't feel like putting these on Ebay. I also have a loaded
Apple III
with an external drive, software and the Apple III monitor that goes
with it if anyone would be interested. I just have too many Apple's at
the moment and need to get rid of some. I'm actually looking to aquire
some older Commodore hardware, I still want to keep my 11gs though -
great computer. Sorry if this sounded like an ad!
