You want a PLCC chip. Specifically, WDC65C816SPL-14.

You want to get a half sized TTL oscillator rated at 4x the speed
you want the CPU to run. The oscillators cost only a few cents
(less than 50 cents each), so get a few. Start with a 40Mhz one
and add faster oscillators. Then test your TWGS and see where it
tops out. I've had luck with http://www.digikey.com/ DigiKey's
service and products.

I think all IIGS accelerator users should upgrade to at least 10Mhz
and then try swapping oscillators to go beyond that. I have mine
running at 12.5Mhz and it is great! I can't imagine slugging along
at 7Mhz anymore. ;-)
Besides, oscillators are cheap so once you've invested in the faster
CPU chip, it makes sense to buy a couple of oscillators to tweak
out which speed the TWGS tops out at.

Email Trevor Mahan (tjmahan@earthlink.net) if you want to place an
order. He lives 15 minutes from Western Design Center and has
gotten more than 12 orders for the chips, so put yourself on the list
if you want a chip!
