battery holder for ROM 1 IIGS

BATTERY HOLDER FOR ROM 1 IIGS: $0.50 EACH

		Many of us regard the ROM 3 IIgs as the ultimate Apple II;
I have two of them!

	The Rom 3 version has a battery connector on the motherboard, so
the battery (Lithium # 1/2AA) is placed into the holder.  The ROM 0 and
ROM 1 IIgs have a soldered-on battery.  While I _love_ to solder (cough!
cough!), some users feel more comfortable with the battery holder design.

ALL ELECTRONICS is selling the battery holder for 1/2AA for $0.50 each.
ALL ELECTRONICS is located in Van Nuys, CA.  I bought two of these holders
and will retrofit the battery holder next time one of my IIgs's needs a
replacement.  The holder will still need soldering, and the bottom of the
holder will need to be insulated before it is epoxyed to the motherboard.

DOES ANYONE ELSE WANT THESE HOLDERS?  As with other mail order vendors,
shipping can be high if you buy just a small item.  All Electronics
charges a flat shipping fee of $5.00, so they subsidize the shipping when
a large amount is ordered.

I plan to place another order with ALL ELECTRONICS, so if you want any of
these holders to be trans-shipped to you ---- postage from me would be
just $0.75 for any number of them.
