5.25 disks

Hi all!  I have a few questions.  I have been away from my apple ][ gs for a
while and started to fool with it again, and I have run into a few problems.

1 -  I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some single sided
single density disks for my apple ][ gs OR if I can make double sided,
double density disks work on it somehow.

2 - will any of the newer monitors for macs work on my gs?  that small
screen just don't cut it when I have had a 21inch monitor on my pc for 8
years :)
