The card has a funky D style connector with three rows of pins, and nothing
but the cable will connect. It's not possible to plug anything into the card
without that cable. I don't think I'd waste time buying one without it.
FWIW I bought a pair of cards with cables and software for $10 each from a
used computer store. I sure wouldn't subject myself to getting one via auction
and particularly not with missing parts.
