Best setup for Mac //e card

Hi all,

What with the recent discussions of the //e card, I dragged out the //e
card software and tried it out on my LCII. Since last using the card,
the LCII has been upgraded to MacOS 7.5.5. The //e runs normally for five
minutes or so, then the application quits with an error message stating "The
application has unexpectedly terminated" or somesuch. Anybody experienced
anything similar? I'm running the latest version of the IIe Startup application
(v2.2.2d1).

I'm not running 32-bit addressing but the LCII is in 256 color
mode (the screen downshifts to 16 colors when I run the IIe application).
Other than that, the motherboard battery is dead (I have to manually change
the date/time when I turn the machine on). Can anyone suggest a stable
configuration for running the //e card software?

Thanks,

Alex.
