My lesson was: if they're offering a stake in the company to bring you on
board,
RUN!  DON'T WALK to the exit.

I've crossed paths with the type.
The one i met (they MUST be related) actually believed that his
s**t didn't stink! (pardon).  He said exactly that on a number of occasions.

The part that drives me *crazy* is knowing that this know-nothing
lying-mouthed suit is going to use *MY* name to lend himself credibility!

It's probably better to vent here than ventilate the object of your
annoyance.

For me it's refreshing to see there are still quite a few assembly language
programmers out there!
