Guess it depends upon what you're used to-- never did like 'switcher
sticks'. They are, however, pretty rugged since there are no pots to wear
out.
Machines like the C64 do include analog X/Y inputs which seem to be
compatible with Apple II stick specs. The catch is that very few programs for
such machines support the analog inputs.
If you're looking for a good Apple II joystick, the best way to go is
likely to be using a PC stick with an adaptor. You can make one or you can
check with B&R Computer Services (619-225-8281;
http://members.aol.com/rrbp/Home.html ). They may have PC-->A2 stick adaptors
for sale.
