Ryan Jackson has rescued Kidnapped and made it available on disk image!

Here is a brief intro to the game:

Kidnapped (A2 version by Peter Kirsch and Carl Mueller) was published in
the July 1981 issue of SoftSide. It is a classic Text adventure which starts you
on the ninth floor of a strange office building. The challenge is to make your
way floor by floor and escape the kidnapper who is somewhere below counting his
ransom money.

The SoftSide article calls Kidnapped a "nine in one" adventure because each
floor is a kind of separate adventure laced with puzzles and traps.

You can find Kidnapped in the GS WorldView preview at ...

http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/AUG.99.PREVIEW/ .

The game has also been uploaded to Asimov and ACN Tarnover.

     Thanks, Ryan!
