I didn't see the original post as my ISP seems to only get about half
the postings on this newsgroup .
The IIgs version of shrinkit (GSHK) will handle forked files, however
it won't decompress DOS 3.3 disk images. For that Shrinkit v3.4 ,which
you have, is the way to go. However one thing it can't handle is forked
files. SDK files aren't normally forked however they can acquire a fork
in certain circumstances. One way they can acquire a fork is if they're
copied onto a ProDOS formatted disk with a Macintosh. I believe there's
some utilities around that'll remove forks. However I get around the
problem by using a HFS formatted disk to transfer the files from the Mac
then on an Apple II I copy onto a ProDOS formatted disk. On an Apple II
copying to an HFS then back to ProDOS will eliminate Mac generated forks.
