Pilot is a programming language designed specifically to create
multiple-choice type courseware. It is a simple language to learn, and is
very capable for it's intended task. It is, however, a relic from the days
of text based programming, perhaps with a picture or graph thrown in for
fun.

Apple Pilot is a pretty good implementation. It's still available as an APDA
product:
