Years ago I worked in a computer store as a technician repairing ][+ and
//e systems. One of the nice pieces of software I had access to was a
floppy which, when booted would bring up a diagnostic menu which
included drive speed adjustment, head alignment, azimuth, etc. This
disk also had the appropriate analog patterns on it to hook an o-scope
up to the Disk II for complete adjustment.
Does anyone out there have this diskette and documentation on
adjustments on Disk II drives? I realize the FAQ has some rudimentary
adjustments, but I distinctly remember NOT loosening screws and moving
the head actuator in order to adjust head alignment.
I would be very interested in purchasing this.
Thanks,
Brett
