You may not have enough storage space. The general
procedure is doing what you are doing and, once getting
the disk image to the Apple II side, running a program
called DSK2FILE to change the disk image back to a
real disk.
You'll either need a second, preferably larger disk drive,
a RAM disk, or a hard disk to make it work.
