Hello. I have recently connected an Apple High Speed SCSI Card, 25-pin to
50-pin cable, 50-pin pass through terminator and Apple HD80SC to my beige,
enhanced IIe. I am not sure where the terminator exactly goes. The Apple
High Speed SCSI card manual shows two hard drives connected to a IIgs and
the terminator is on the second 50-pin connector on the back of the final
hard drive. The System Cable (25-pin to 50-pin cable) manual says to put
the terminator BETWEEN the System Cable and the hard drive. Should I put it
BETWEEN the cable and hard drive or on the second connector on the back of
the hard drive? It has booted both ways, but I don't know if it could be
damaged by having it connected wrong. I appreciate any advice.
Thank you,
Jason Whorton
