Well.....the log file isn't completing it's write. After I restart
and run scandisk.....the WAR FTP log file is all that is corrupted. I
have definitely noticed a pattern here...as everything runs fine until
my machine shuts down the hard drives. Even while using it....I have
had it spool down the drives....and then crash when something tries to
access the spooled down drive. The drive will spool back
up.....but...it seems to take a long time for this old crappy Maxtor
drive to spool up again. I'll try disabling UDMA support...and see if
this fixes it. Linux seemed to have no problems at all waiting for
the drive to spool up again though......but....maybe it wasn't
attempting to use UDMA mode on the drive :-)
