The best is ProTERM.  New copies are kinda spendy, but you might be able to
find a used one for not too much.  (I bought mine back when I needed a
really good ZMODEM implementation to move files from my IIe to my "BBS
box," which was a 286 I built so that I could have my IIe back. :-) )  Some
free alternatives are Talk Is Cheap (works well, but doesn't do ZMODEM),
Agate (uses DHR to display IBM graphics characters, but I don't remember if
it does uploads), and Kermit (works, but the Kermit transfer protocol is
lame; even XMODEM would be better).
