No shit???? are you serious???? HOLY CRAP!!!! All this time I

trees!!!!

Why would I want to cancel this???
If you would take the time to read the post in the DISCUSSION
group...comp.sys.apple2 you MIGHT actually figure out WHY this file
was posted here!!! SO....to summarize for you!!!!!!!!!!
often times web servers do NOT know how to handle apple type files
(shk, sdk, po, dc, etc etc etc!!!) so they send them as TEXT mode
files by default. This is due to the fact that the server admin has
NOT properly set up his MIME types in the server to recognize that
these files should be sent as BINARY files...and not as TEXT files.
Also....quite obviously....many apple2 people like myself use a
windows machine or a macintosh to download our apple2 software off the
web.....and NOT an apple2. It really sucks to have it end up being
sent as a text file. This utility.....for win32 machines
anyways......will strip the CR's and linefeeds from the file.....and
effectively repair it so it is a BINARY type file. You can now use
this binary file....and un shrink, etc the file on your apple2. Text
mode files are useless.
Please understand what you are bitching about BEFORE you attempt to
become a member of the self proclaimed usenet gods!!!
