Adding AOL Apple II Forum keyword to FAQ

Rubywand, since I've provided new AOL based Apple II users
with the keyword for the AOL Apple II Forum and they've all
wrote back to me saying how helpful it was (especially the
Mac users, since ShrinkIt! in Mac extractable DiskCopy
format is in the AOL Apple II Forum library), I think that this
info should be added to the FAQ.

The keyword is:

aol://4344:1264.a2main.10029531.514525857

AOL 4 users should click the keyword button next to the
URL bar and clip and paste the above keyword into the dialog
box, then hit go.

AOL 3 and before users will find the keyword command
under the Go To menu.

If an AOL Apple II user who has a Mac logs into the AOL
Apple II Forum, he or she will see a "Mac to Apple II
Transfers" button on the Forum's splash screen. Clicking
on it will bring up a window with two scroll boxes. On the
left side is instructions on Mac to Apple II transfers. On
the right side is a DiskCopy image containing both the
8-bit ShrinkIt! program and the 16-bit GS ShrinkIt! program.
The beauty of this image is that a Mac can read it in and
spit out a disk that can be inserted into a IIe, IIc, IIc+, or
IIGS, with ShrinkIt! and ShrinkIt! GS applications ready to
run!

By the way, for non-AOL users, Dr. Tom has apparently
now put a copy of this image on ground, so Apple II users
with Macs can find it there too.

Thanks in advance for updating the FAQ. I'm sure it will
help many new Apple II users looking for ShrinkIt!

PS. This is especially true for Mac users because once
PC Exchange transfers downloaded files to a ProDOS
disk, it generates a resource fork thereby preventing the
use of BASIC.SYSTEM to change the file type! This
means that the shrinkit.exe self-extractor will not work.
For Mac users, a DiskCopy option is essential. I've tried
the BASIC.SYSTEM method with a forked file. It does
not work. To give you an example if you can't find a Mac
for the test, go into the GS Finder and add a comment to
a ProDOS 8 file. Any file. Now try to go into BASIC.SYSTEM
to change that file's type. You'll get an error because the
GS has added a resource fork, just as Mac PC Exchange
adds one.
