//gs memory card questions

I have an Apple //gs ROM 3 and I would like to use an Apple brand memory
expansion card in it.  The card has 256K on it and looks like it can be
expanded to 1MB.

When I plug the card in I get a ProDOS error saying that I don't have
enough memory to load the system.

Can I use this card in my system or is it for ROM 0 and 1 systems only?
There are two set of jumpers on the board, do they control the address
where the card lives?
