Re: Efforts to provide SoftDisk back Issues for the Apple II and IIgs
Rubywand posted these comments and question concerning my post, as follow, to
which I reply:
" It would be great to see such a large addition of proven software to the
archives-- Good luck!"
Yes, it sure would. Thanks, I'll need it :)
"Be sure to ask about unreleased II/IIgs Softdisk software, too. This is stuff
Softdisk bought but cratered before releasing. (I have one such item but have
not released it because Softdisk is still in business. Some other programmers
may be in a similar situation.)"
OK, I sure will. BTW, you mention you have one such item but have not released
it. Is this something you authored? IF so, what is it, kind, title function
etc.???
"If Softdisk has no further interest in Apple II products, then, this could be
a nice way to get some good PR and free advertising for their PC offerings."
I agree and let's all hope they do too!
BTW, have all of the Apple II Birthday CD's been snapped up yet?
Yes :) But, I have a SPECIAL one - I'm making just for you ;-)
Cheers,
Tom
PS: It's amazing how - when certain control groups break the magic broom and
conclude because it can be broken, it's no longer functional. Then it springs
back so swiftly - from so many fully functional locations, bigger, faster and
even more productive with its abilities.
