Apple III Question

I have an Apple III in my Apple collection.  I have everything for it,
startup disks, demo disks, but when you load a program, the keyboard doesn't
work.  There is no response form any of the keys except from one of the
apple keys.  Does anyone know how to fix it easily?  I'd like to have this
machine working.
