Network Booting of IIGS
I recently acquired an Apple IIgs, Rom v03, which I am trying to boot
over the network. It's been years since I used a IIGS, and even then
never in a network environment. The IIgs is on a LocalTalk network
(PhoneNet, actually) which is connected to an EtherTalk network via a
FastPath 4 router. I have AppleShare Server 3.0 running on a Mac Quadra
800 on the EtherTalk network. I installed the Apple II Boot feature of
AS 3.0, and the GS now boots ProDOS, and I can get to the "Log In to
File Server" screen. I log in to the Mac as a registered user, and I
gte the erro "Cannot load Start.GS.OS", but Start.GS.OS is there on the
Mac, in the System Folder, and in the root level of the drive. Does it
have to be in a special folder? Any info would be appreciated...
Thanks,
