Well, my main point is that I have a hard drive that works without
ordering anything, but that web page does tell me what I need to know...
the Vulcan dates so early in the IDE days that it has to have a "drive
table" to know the drive geometry. And it is missing some of the signals
that are needed for full IDE compatibility. So I'll just take it as it is
rather than ordering a card that costs more than I paid for the whole
computer. It is a nice clean looking card, though.
