Yes, though you may not like the result.
You need to locate a copy of the full AppleShare software (for the Mac),
version 3.0.x. Later versions do not support network booting an Apple
II, and earlier versions don't allow the Mac to be used for anything
else at the same time (and only work under Mac System 6.0.x).
As far as the connection between the machines goes: you need to set up
an AppleTalk network, which at a minimum requires a serial cable between
the machines. If you want to hook up more than two devices (e.g. a
networked printer) then you need to use proper LocalTalk cabling, or
Phonenet (which is cheaper).
The speed is nothing to get excited about: it is comparable to a 3.5"
floppy.
