Success!!!!  One CAN NOT format the drives on the IIgs in my
experience.  They are just too large.  Can be
formatted and partitioned on a Mac with SCSI using  2 different
programs, then back to the GS fro additional tweeking....  Spent all
day on it yesterday and finally found a solution!  Using the Jaz now!
I anyone needs  disks formatted and partitioned, just mail them to me
with # and size of partitions and HFS or ProDos and I'll work on them
and return ready to go.    Will run about $5 per cartridge plus
postage - fair enough?  (takes 30 minutes  per 1GB cartridge)
