The author of Shrink II (a mightly fine ShrinkIt program for the Mac) wrote:
" The actual name is Shrink II -- there's a space between the k and the I.
Just to be picky... ;-)"
And, I reply: Of all the programs I use on my Mac today for support of my Apple
II efforts, Shrink II is by far the most useful for my ShrinkIt archive needs.
The two things I like the most with Shrink II is it's ability to extract
certain files only from a ShrinkIt archive and to save an A2 and/or IIgs disk
archive from a ShrinkIt archive to my Mac desktop
as a 'PERFECT' Disk Copy image file, which allows me to drag and drop that
file, to mount it as a virtual disk inside of my PPC IIGS emulator,
Gus.
Shrink II is nothing short of a blessing for my use and needs with any
ShrinkIt archive on my Mac. I'd advise anybody with a Mac that needs
complete minipulation with ShrinkIt archive files to get and use the
Shrink II program, it really a true work of art IMHO.
Thanks for Shrink II, Josef. I couldn't get by without it!
Cheers,
Tom
