I had a situation a few years ago where my IIGS just couldn't mount a
single partition HFS-based CD-ROM. But, after I applied the HFS.FST patch,
the CD-ROM mounted just fine.
The problem with the HFS.FST was originally discovered when Jim Maricondo
was trying to create a large HFS partition for Golden Orchard CD-ROM, but
as we've learned since then, the bug in the original un-patched HFS.FST
can manifest itself whether you're trying to read or write to a partition
that's bigger than 96 megs.
