There is a "PREFIX" command for this purpose.

Type:

PREFIX SUBDIRECTORYNAME<RETURN>

and then CATALOG to find out what's in that directory.  (The <RETURN>
indicates the RETURN key.)

You can change disks by prefixing the subdirectory name with a slash as in:

PREFIX /SECONDDISK<RETURN>

And you can go directly to a subdirectory within a different disk from the
current one in this way.

PREFIX /ANOTHERDISK/ANOTHERSUBDIRECTORY<RETURN>

Note that some of these example names are too long.  You are limited to 15
characters in ProDOS, 30 charaters in DOS 3.3.
