Oops.  That was a typo on my part.  I meant TV, not modem. ;-)

Yup, but it looks really ugly.  TV video usually sucks and the
IIGS display is blury and bleads color when displayed on the
TV.  Televisions just don't have the resolution.  Some European
TVs, however, have an RGB input that is compatible with the
RGB port.  Using the RGB video from the IIGS is much better.
