It refers to the early model IIGS units that had Woz's signature on
them.  Sadly, the signature was cool but there were bugs in two
components in the early IIGS.  Apple provided free upgrade to
ROM 01 and a VGC graphics chip swap for years.  If your IIGS
has been upgraded, it should say ROM 01 at the splash screen.
If it has not been upgraded, then it still has ROM 00 and cannot
use GS/OS (you should then try to find a ROM 01 chip to upgrade
it yourself...not running GS/OS on a IIGS is like not running
Windows 95/98 on a PC and restricting yourself to DOS).
