To clarify:

We have a Mac LC580 (our only classroom mac, along w/ 10 GS) in my class
w/ localtalk bridge on the school ethernet network.
As we have Laserwriter in the class, the localtalk is fine to print in
class. But the GS will see other printers on the network, inc. the
laserwriter in the main office. So out of curiosity I tried to print
there but no luck.

There is a G3 server on campus where kids may save files when working in
the lab. But they are all under At EASE & password protected so they can't
get at them under the current set-up.
Is there a way they might be able to do so, assuming I can pound it into
there heads to "save as txt" when then work in the lab?

thnx
