I always use the memory testing program from Claris that was shipped
with AppleWorks GS 1.1 to test my memory.
The 1MB IIGS mem card is not worth trouble shooting, though. Best
to replace it with a 4MB to 8MB one, such as the Sirius, and 8MB mem
card that can be bought with 0MB to 8MB and later expanded to a
maximum of 8MB in 1MB increments using easy to find (from old
PC and Mac units) 1MB 30-pin SIMMs. Sirius is available from
http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech Electronics. If you do want to test
the 1MB card after all, AppleWorks GS 1.1 can also be had from
Alltech for $15.
