I think you are saying that you are using a Mac to move TrueType
fonts from a Sun server to a IIGS and are wondering how to break
up the font Suitecases on the IIGS to conserve memory.

Don't worry.  When you use TrueType fonts with Pointless on the
IIGS, the fonts are not actually loaded into memory.  Only a list of
the fonts is.  That's what you see in the Font menu on the IIGS.
Only when you actually USE a font is it loaded into memory.  You
can have hundreds of TrueType fonts on the IIGS without fear of
running out of memory (you might not be able to USE them all in
a SINGLE document, but you can have them installed in the system
at the same time).
