No Seb, wasn't a ribbon problem, it came out of an other printer that
used the same ribbon, and it printed just fine.

However, no worries now. I went out yesterday & one of my neighbors was
clearing out some Apple II stuff.

Man did I hit the motherload. I came home with 15 boards, an imagewriter
II w/color ribbon & a ton of software. All for $10.50. (50 cents was for
the color ribbon) Some interesting Apple IIe boards, including the
Applied Engineering RAMWORKS II board & Super Talker speach boards were
included in the deal. 

Pretty sweet!
