$0C30: 04 00 00 09 04 ... 00 04 00 00 09 04 ...
I'd like to make a correction to this post. The extra/missing byte occurs
at offset $0c30 into the file, not from the origin. The files are identical
for the first $c2f bytes, then one has a $00 at $c30 (Mac file) that the
other does not (GS file). I followed this one byte offset for several
pages (256 bytes) but I didn't check the whole file. As stated, both files
were $4e00 bytes long (19968 bytes) on the unix system, on the GS system,
and the data fork of the Mac file. So, prepending a $00 to the file didn't
help. I need to stick it in at $c30. Back to basic.system ... (Luckily,
$4e00 bytes fit into memory at $1000 with room to spare :-) )
