you are looking for.  It is an ANSI C.  There were several other ones
for the IIGS, but they are no longer around.  Orca/C and Orca/Pascal
are THE accepted standard IIGS programming languages.

ByteWorks also has an extended BASIC and Modula-2 if you are
into those.
