i skipped the country for a couple weeks (Reserves), come back, and
suddenly i can't access the newsgroups from work.  <sigh>  JUST got around
to trying it from home.  (it's slower here.  that's why i preferred to
lurk at work.)

ooh...  <g>  i REALLY have to figure out how to get my Linux box rigged
for accepting PPP clients!  :)  this would certainly beat using *modem to
do a file transfer!  <g>
