Logic would dictate that idea, however, take the PC boards for Macintosh
computers as an example where there is a market for a board for a computer that
costs more than a full computer which will outperform it.  Another example are
the processor upgrade cards for Macs.  In almost every case, the new processor
board costs more than an equivalent machine running at that speed (excluding
the computers where ONLY the processor is swapped)
