AppleWorks3 find of the Decade!!!

OK, that may be stretching it a bit -- but I'm jazzed!

I'm a loyal AW3 user because it does everything that I ask it to, but when I
had the chance to pick up TO.ShrinkIt (which doesn't work below AW4), I bought
it remembering how I use to swear by AW2.1.

To my great surprise, on the front side of the disk is a folder labeled AW3. 
Inside are TWO TimeOut ShrinkIt files for working inside TO.Applications in
AW3!  One allows desk files to be shrunk and unshrunk.  The other does the same
for files already on disk!!!

I've tried them both out and they work.  Now, the Desktop version is much
slower than the Disk version (which is REALLY fast), but it could be faster
than exiting AppleWorks, booting ShrinkIt v3.4, saving the file, exiting, and
rebooting AppleWorks and adding the other files that you were working with.

To save multiple desktop files to disk, it's probably faster to save them as
regular AW files and then either use the Disk version to save them or, then
exit and boot up ShrinkIt.  TO.ShrinkIt only allows you to select a single file
at a time to compress; however, it does so nicely. A 100K file shrunk down to
65K.  Nice way to save that must have, but rarely used info.

Beverly Cadieux from Texas II wrote back:
"Doug Gum used to say that he had a working version of TimeOut Shrinkit for
AppleWorks 3, but Quality wouldn't release it.  It seems logical to me that
both versions might be incorporated into a single program.  Maybe it was there
all the time, but they never advertised it.  SOunds good to me!"
