Re: Hello everyone

For the benefit of our two long-lost friends, I was just thinking about some
of the other recent developments...

There's a IIGS Instant Messenger type of program that let's you have a
private one-on-one chat with anyone else who has an IM account, whether
that's on a Mac, PC or IIGS. That's Sheppy's gsAIM, $10 shareware, and it
works with Marinetti, the name of our freeware TCP/IP stack. Check out
www.sheppyware.net for more info.

Most all the Apple II developers are now hanging out on Delphi. Delphi's A2
and A2Pro forums have free web-side access at www.delphi.com, or to get full
access to the entire Delphi online network, they have an inbound Telnet
option for $35/year.

KansasFest is still going strong. The 11th Kfest will take place in July.
Check out www.kfest.org

Tony Diaz has an incredible Apple II site at www.apple2.org

There's an Apple II WebRing with more than 30 sites.

Seven Hills finally released Babelfish as freeware, and SuperConvert v4
decodes Jpegs.

Obviously, everything new in the Apple II world has been covered in
Shareware Solutions II, and you guys can pick up your subscription where you
left off, or just start up with the most current issue. Costs and all that
other stuff can be found at www.crl.com/~joko

Oh. Did I mention that Harmonie has been updated to support 600 x 300 dpi on
LaserJets and DeskJets? No? I'll leave that for another message then ;-)
