You 'need' ...
o- the box with a ROM-01 or ROM 3 motherboard and the power supply
o- the IIgs mouse and IIgs keyboard and a joystick
o- the standard IIgs RGB display monitor
o- a 4MB or larger GS Expansion Memory card
o- a Stereo card (and speakers + amplifier)
o- an audio input Digitizer card (if not included on the Stereo card) and
microphone
o- a ZipGS or TransWarp accelerator board
o- a Focus 'Hard Card' or other hard drive with System 6.0.1 installed
o- a RamFAST SCSI interface if you want to connect a SCSI hard disk
or SCSI Zip Drive or SCSI CD-ROM
o- a System Saver IIgs box
o- 2 3.5" Apple drives
o- 2 5.25" Apple platinum drives
o- a GS high-speed modem cable and NULL modem connector
o- a printer (such as an ImageWriter II) and cable
Some places to look for IIgs stuff include comp.sys.apple2.marketplace and the
Intrec Store (http://www.intrec.com/intrecdox/store/store.html)-- it sells IIgs
monitors for $40. And Willard Seehorn recently posted that he's dumping his GS
stuff (see the thread "headed for the trash" Date: Mon, 22 Mar 1999). There are,
also, thrift shops, garage sales, local school sales, and user group swap meets.
