Connecting computers - can anyone help?

Hi there. I was hoping someone might be able to help me with a
problem...

I have a nearly-new G3 266DT and a positively prehistoric Powerbook
520. Is there any way of connecting the two, making it that much easier
to transfer files back and forth (files are too big to fit on a
floppy)? Can I do it with a SCSI (the Powerbook SCSI slot is smaller
than the one on the G3)? Or do I have to set up some sort of
mini-network type thing?

Any advice and help (posted via follow-up) would be much appreciated.
