Hi all;
I have a non-apple 105 Meg external hard drive.
I got this program, run it, moved the GenericMacSCSI file into
system/drives, rebooted, reinitialised my HFS partition, copied the
system 6.0.1 file to it, shut down, disconnected the hard drive,
connected it to a Mac SE/30 running system 7.5.3, turned on the hard
drive, turned on the Mac SE/30, waited for it to boot and....
The hard drive did not show up!!!
I opened SCSI Probe, it shows that the hard drive is on the SCSI bus
(SCSI# 6), selected mount, did nothing, tried rest (holding the option
changes the update button to reset), did nothing.
Is there anything I missed, can anyone advise on getting this hard
drive mounted to the Mac. THe hard drive according to SCSI probe is a
Quantum LP105s 910109405 3.1.
