Try this:
Boot DOS 3.3, get to the usual BASIC prompt, do a NEW, and enter ...
10 FOR I= 1 TO 50000: NEXT I: PRINT CHR$(7)
The above takes 20 seconds (from pressing RETURN for RUN to the BEEP) on our
IIc+. After booting to "Normal" (slow) speed, the time is 66.5 seconds on the IIc+.
It is also 66.5 seconds on a II+.
Unless the software you boot sets speed to "Normal", you should get about 20
seconds for the loop program to execute at 'fast' speed on your IIc+.
