Isn't Firewire serial scsi, as opposed to parallel scsi?  I was reading an
older version of Scott Muellers book, "How to Upgrade an Repair PC's".  He
was talking about "serial scsi" being the next big thing in SCSI.  Sounded
like Firewire to me.
