Imagewriter ll

Hi Everyone,                                               Wondering if
anyone can help. I have an Apple //c computer and recently got an
Imagewriter ll printer. The small round connector on the printer fits
the connector on the computer but I can't get it to printer anything.
I'm not familier with computers and was wondering what I'm doing wrong.
I also have an Imagewriter printer but the printer cable is not the same
as the plug on the computer. I really wish I could get one of these to
work. Thanks for any help.                           Ray
