If you're fed up with Yahoo, you may want to try the Open Directory Project
at <http://directory.mozilla.org/> (or <http://dmoz.org/> for short).  It
is a growing web directory maintained by thousands of volunteers who care
about their subjects, rather than just by a few paid employees.  You can
find the Apple II page, which I edit, at <http://dmoz.org/Computers/
Operating_Systems/Apple_II/>.  (And yes, I know that the Apple II is not,
technically speaking, an "operating system".  :)
