IIc+ boot floppy?

I bought a IIc+ a week ago, and while it boots fine from a external 5.25
floppy I have, and can format a floppy in the 800k internal drive, I have
had no luck making a 800k boot floppy on my Mac 7200/90. Any hints? When I
tried it wouldn't boot (can't load prodos), and reported the floppy has
bad blocks when I checked it.
